I've had side effects with every herbal supplement I've ever tried, so I don't try new ones, especially given its potential side effects: https://www.rxlist.com/butterbur/generic-drug.htm. A list like that is a red flag for me. I'll stick to my medication, which works to reduce the symptoms. And when it doesn't, I'm fine taking to my bed for an afternoon or whatever. :-)
Ugh migraines. They told me as a child to quit thinking so much, it would give me a headache. They were right : )

Yeah, your study sounds like mine. Too many books sparking too much joy. Sorry you have migraines to deal with. The worst!
